Rossi – The Man – His Machines !!!Yes !! I am a Rossi Fan, a true blue hard core fan of the Doctor and although I haven’t been following the technicalities of his racing moves or his circuit wins I like the style with which he takes calculated risks on the track and often overtakes from the most precarious places.
Its not that his riding is error free as he has had terrible crashes to his name but then I am sure he wins because he is reckless at times. He has been fined for using vulgar gestures even on the track but then that’s what a biker with balls does. He can’t just keep quiet. I haven’t seen a real gentleman racer since Alain Prost or Ayrton Senna maybe.
That’s why I love Rossi, because he is the rebel I want to be. He is the Moto GP champ that gets inside me when I ride out on the highway and overtake the biaggi’s and cadalora’s etc etc.
I ride a Yamaha myself. The Flagship model Yamaha legally available in the country today. The Gladiator and feel Rossi’s spirit in me whenever I ride wearing the Yamaha Jacket.
I have been collecting Rossi’s Bike models ever since he has started winning way back and this weekend the collection had one more addition with the new 2006 Team Yamaha Moto GP Bike.
I love the way the Repsol Honda RCV looks and handles and thats why i instantly loved the limited edition Honda Unicorn that was launched in Repsol Honda colours.

Good post... me too a die hard Rossi fan.. been a Biaggi n pier' Chili(sbk) fan and Rossi just stormed into the scene... Rossi is quite a gentleman i must say albeit his tussles with team mates at 250cc class.. but Biaggi n Sete would have more to add to my statement! :D
But its not good comparing him with Alain prost.. he was no gentleman by any means!!
I'm a die hard fan of Senna... but i must say that senna proved to the world he cud beat the best with underperforming cars at several stages in his career... 91-92 is a great example agains the top class Williams of Mansell and unlucky patrese!
but rossi dared to prove a point by getting into underdogs team yamaha and a clearly incompetent M1 and still won 5 titles!!! he is god!
Comming to teh bikes.. i'm an avid scale model collector and i do make a few myslef.
